After a few more rounds, Mizrachi made some untimely errors that led to his elimination from the title contention. For his outstanding performance, he grabbed the fourth place that came with a large sum of cash valued at $41,055. Moving further, Luong landed at third place and went away with a nice amount of cash valued at $61,583.
At the end of the $2,500 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball finals for the 39th Annual World Series of Poker, the competition was trimmed down to Phan against Uchida. Equipped with better plays and brilliant strategies, Phan edged out Uchida for the win. This impressive victory gave Phan his second WSOP championship bracelet for the 2008 season alone. Aside from that, he also took home the grand prize amounting to $151,911. On the flip side, Uchida went home with $95,795 for his outstanding second place performance.
